How the fee is set

Four steps to a written fee

1Two minutes onlineEighteen questions on the scoping flow return your indicative band. We ask for no contact details before you see it.
230-minute scoping callWe learn how the business runs and both sides decide whether it is a fit.
3Written proposalBand, fee, inclusions, exclusions, and how the fee moves as you grow. Valid for 14 days.
4Fee follows the businessWhen you add a registration, a payroll, a marketplace or an investor, the fee moves to the new band from the next month, with a signed addendum.

The work behind the fee

Three of the twelve, and the work behind each

The fee pays for jobs that get tracked, reconciled and reviewed every month.

Finac job tracker listing GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, income-tax return and annual audit jobs with owner, target date and status

Registrations and returnsEvery filing has a date and a named owner. Two GSTINs mean twice the work, and the fee reflects that.

Finac stock summary report with opening, inward and outward quantities and values by item

InventoryStock groups, items and units reconciled to purchases and sales each month, so the stock statement your lender receives is right.

Finac receivables ageing analysis by customer across 0–30, 30–60, 60–90 and older buckets

Receivables and MISAgeing by customer, chased on your behalf, and a monthly MIS written for founders.

The fee follows the work

Two GST registrations, a payroll and a lender’s stock statement are real work every month. A fee that ignores them ends up as either a loss for the firm or a shortcut for the client. Neither is good for you. Finac’s fee moves with the business, in advance and in writing.

  • Scope agreed on a 30-minute call
  • Fee, inclusions and exclusions set out in a written proposal
  • Changes only with a signed addendum, so the invoice never surprises you

Questions

Frequently asked

Why is there no cheaper plan?

Below ₹6,999 a month a finance department cannot be run properly. A filing service is a different product and we do not sell one. Our calendars and guides are free, and one-time services are there for businesses that need a specific job done.

Is ₹6,999 what most clients pay?

No. It is the floor. Most engagements sit in the Growth and Established bands, because that is where businesses that want a finance department usually are.

What decides where my fee lands inside a band?

The hours the scope needs and the value of the work. A lender pack or a fundraise sits in the upper half of a band; a clean, simple operation sits in the lower half. The scoping call sets it and the proposal states it.

Does the fee change as we grow?

Yes, on evidence and in advance. When your business adds a registration, a payroll, a marketplace or an investor, the fee moves to the band it now belongs to, from the next month, with a signed addendum. Nothing is added quietly or billed for past months.

Are GST and government fees included?

No. Fees exclude GST; government fees, stamp duty and DSCs are at cost.

Can I buy a single service without a monthly engagement?

Yes. Registrations, notice responses, annual filings and the New Company Finance Setup are available as one-time services.

What do you need to give me a number?

About ten facts about the business. The scoping flow collects them in two minutes and returns your indicative band. A 30-minute call then confirms the scope and the fee.
