Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled professional with strong analytical, technology, communication and organizational skills and ability to demonstrate accounting expertise, financial oversight and managerial responsibilities. Right candidate should have experience leading month-End Close activities, US GAAP accounting, with proficiency in Oracle NetSuite (mandatory). The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in financial decision-making by analyzing performance, preparing forecasts, and ensuring accurate month-end reporting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP.
  • Utilize Oracle NetSuite for financial reporting, process automation, and data analysis.
  • Lead & manage cross-functional teams to drive financial planning and operational improvements.
  • Analyse financial trends and provide insights to senior management for better decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and accounting standards.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making regarding resource allocation and potential investments.
  • Analyse current and past financial data and performance, identifying trends and recommending improvements accordingly.
  • Prepare reports and projections based on this analysis in an understandable format for senior management.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 8-10 years in month-end close, and US GAAP accounting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Oracle NetSuite is mandatory.
  • Education: CA and/or CPA.
  • Ability to work in teams in person at our offices.
  • Goal oriented, ability to act independently and lead teams.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, clearly articulate plans across upward and downward teams.
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple time zones using relevant tools (e.g. MS Office, Slack, Teams, Zoom).
  • Manage time effectively to ensure responsibilities are completed efficiently and all deadlines are met in a complex and largely autonomous work environment.
  • Be able to adapt to meet our dynamic business needs that may change or evolve over time.
  • Give and receive frequent mentoring and targeted feedback to ensure your own growth, achieve project/work objectives, and contribute to team effectiveness
