Job Overview
Akssai Projexel is seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead and scale B2B sales for our SaaS-based solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in field sales and team management, preferably from the banking, fintech, insurance, or financial services domain.
This role requires a leader who can drive revenue growth, manage and mentor a sales team, monitor sales performance, and execute business development strategies across assigned markets. The candidate should be capable of building strong client relationships while ensuring effective team performance and target achievement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Business Development Executives / Sales Representatives across assigned locations.
- Develop and execute B2B sales strategies to drive adoption of Akssai Projexel’s SaaS solutions.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with corporate clients, merchants, and institutional partners.
- Monitor team performance, track sales pipelines, and ensure achievement of monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to the sales team to enhance productivity and performance.
- Conduct client meetings, product presentations, and SaaS solution demonstrations with key decision-makers.
- Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle, including prospecting, negotiation, deal closure, and client onboarding.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation, customer success, and client satisfaction.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to refine business strategies.
- Ensure accurate sales reporting, forecasting, and CRM updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or field sales.
- Proven experience in team handling, performance monitoring, and sales execution.
- Prior experience in banking, insurance, fintech, credit card sales, debit card sales, POS solutions, payment solutions, or financial services is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage sales teams and drive performance in a target-driven environment.
- Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and market development activities.
- Understanding of SaaS solutions, fintech platforms, or digital products will be an advantage.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in merchant acquisition, financial product sales, or payment solutions.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales strategy, customer acquisition, and market expansion.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve business targets.
