Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Revenue Accountant with a strong understanding of US GAAP standards to join our team. This role is integral to managing revenue recognition processes, optimizing revenue operations, and supporting cross-functional teams in revenue generation and forecasting. Ideal candidates will have experience in SaaS companies and demonstrate proficiency in CRM and data analysis tools, with a keen eye for data accuracy and reporting. Ability to work in US (Pacific Standard Time) timings full/partially is needed for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Analysis and Forecasting
– Analyze sales and renewal data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
– Develop and maintain revenue forecasting models to support business planning.
– Provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance revenue performance and meet business goals.
Sales/Renewal Process Optimization
– Work closely with Sales and Renewals teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
– Track and report on critical performance metrics, including conversion rates, deal velocity, forecast accuracy, and pipeline health.
Data Management and Reporting
– Ensure accurate, up-to-date records of sales and renewals within CRM and other platforms.
– Create and distribute regular reports and dashboards to track revenue performance and other key metrics.
– Uphold data integrity across all revenue-related systems, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
– Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate revenue recognition, adhering to US GAAP standards.
– Partner with Marketing to align sales and renewal initiatives with ongoing campaigns and strategies.
– Assist in developing training materials and best practices for the Sales and Renewals teams.
Qualifications:
– Experience: Minimum of 2+ years in revenue operations, financial analysis, sales operations, or related roles in a SaaS environment.
– US GAAP Knowledge: Deep understanding of US GAAP standards and best practices in revenue recognition.
– Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and data analysis tools (Excel, Google Sheets).
– Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities with a talent for interpreting complex data and providing strategic insights.
– Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and collaborative skills to work effectively across teams.
– Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
– Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
